Mohammed Hafez is the author of Suicide Bombers in Iraq: The Strategy and Ideology of Martyrdom.

Currently a Visiting Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, Mohammed Hafez previously authored Why Muslims Rebel  and Manufacturing Human Bombs.

Mohammed Hafez is also the author of numerous book chapters and journal articles on Islamic movements, political violence, and suicide bombers in Iraq and Palestine, including:
